IQ Duo Plus Pull-Cord Alarm, by AliMed, functions as either a magnetic pull-cord alarm or a sensor pad alarm with the flip of a switch. 12″ x 30″ Wireless Bed Sensor Pad is used with the PSC Wireless Patient Monitoring System. The Transmitter (WAT-1) can be removed and interchanged between Wireless Bed and Chair Pads.

PSC Patient Monitoring System offers continuous 2.4G bi-directional wireless communication. The wireless feature eliminates tripping hazards from cords. The alarm monitor works with the Secure Wireless Bed or Chair Sensor Pad. The wireless alarm has a wireless range of 150 feet between the transmitter and the monitor. Adding the optional Nurse Call Interface Cable (NCI-1) can eliminate the in-room alarm sound while alerting the nurse’s station.

Medicare Abdominal Restraining Belt

The Medicare Abdominal Restraining Belt includes an articulated system to let the patient turn on to either side, sit up, and sit on the bed. This is a common method for the purpose of Psychiatric restraint. The abdominal belt can be easily installed before or after the patient has gone to bed. The lower part - with subjection bands - can be fixed to the bed or stretcher frame; the upper part has to be placed around the waist of the patient. The lateral restraining bands must always be applied and used and are intended to prevent the patient from rotating around the axis of the belt.
